Room 309 is mainly used for structural characterization based on equipments of single-crystal X-ray diffractometer and X-ray powder diffractometer and works on secondary batteries. And dewar cylinders for liquid N2, which supply over the laboratory with a highly pure N2 gas for experiments, are located in the room.
R309 also has a small room, which is used as a computer room.

A small back room in Room 309 is the computer room for Miyasaka Lab., where we are doing structural analyses and calculations, for example, determining molecular orbitals with their energy levels using adequate programs.
